The Dock of Global Connectivity

Quick connectivity of people to the world is what powers businesses prosperity. The growth of Gujarat’s Maritime Cluster is due to its strategic location in Gujarat, one of the most globally accessible and connected states in India.

Gujarat acts as a gateway to the rich northern and central hinterland of India, connecting them with excellent road, rail and air, thereby providing immense trading opportunities. With a coastline of 1,600 km, Gujarat is extremely well linked to all the major port-based trade routes, such as the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Gulf and African countries and major trade centres of the world by air routes. Whereas, excellent road connectivity with expressways also connects to key metros of India as well as key ports viz. Kandla, Pipavav, etc.

In addition, Gujarat has one of India’s largest network of airports with a total of 19 Airports of which 09 are under operational jurisdiction of the Airports Authority of India (AAI). Out of these, Ahmedabad and Surat are International Airports with a high frequency of air connectivity to key destinations of Dubai, Singapore & Qatar.
