It was the vision of our Hon'ble Prime Minister to setup the world's most vibrant, efficient and successful Maritime Cluster and play a crucial role in providing jobs and economic growth through the development and expansion of the country's maritime industries, such as shipping, ports, and shipbuilding, through synergetic collaboration among all stakeholders. These industries can drive innovation and increase productivity, leading to increased exports and foreign investment, supported by conducive policy and process frameworks through the unified regulatory authority, the IFSC Authority in the GIFT SEZ. A maritime cluster also serves as a hub for research and development, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry players. As our Prime Minister stated, "it is a new organisation paving the way for New India".
